About Big Deck Beach House
If your family vacation revolves around the deck, this is the house. A 500-square-foot oceanfront deck stretches across the front of the home, with umbrella tables, lounge chairs and nothing between you and the Atlantic but sea oats and sand.
The upper level is where everyone gathers. A gourmet kitchen with three ovens and acres of counter space makes big family dinners easy, and a separate wet bar with sink keeps the drinks out of the cook’s way. A large picture window in the living room frames the ocean, and the dining area just off the kitchen has seats for the whole crew. A half bath and a full-size washer and dryer are down the hall.
The oceanside primary suite has a king bed and a private bath with a full-size jetted whirlpool tub. Another bedroom has a queen and its own bathroom, and a bunk room with a pyramid bunk (double below, twin above, plus a trundle) is a hit with kids. Ceiling fans in every bedroom and two in the living area keep the breeze moving.
The ground level works almost like a private guest suite — just three steps up from the parking area — with a queen bed, vanity and sink, mini-fridge, microwave and coffee pot, plus its own half bath. Grandparents love it. Two enclosed outdoor showers, a shaded under-house lounge with hammocks and roughly 200 feet of private beach access round it out. Up to two dogs are welcome.
